The Walk

Start Point: Holly Cottage (Postcode: CA12 5JU)
From Holly Cottage, head to the bottom of the street and turn left. Walk towards Keswick town centre, passing the Moot Hall on your left. Turn right onto Springs Road and follow the trail past Springs Farm, keeping right of the stream as the path winds through a quiet woodland.

The trail opens up, revealing stunning views over Derwentwater, with Catbells and the Newlands Valley in the distance. Continue along the clearly marked trail to Castlerigg Stone Circle (Postcode: CA12 4RN), a historic Neolithic site with panoramic views of the surrounding fells.

Finish Point: Return to Keswick via the looped path. Explore Keswick town centre (Postcode: CA12 5JR) before heading back to Holly Cottage.
