The Walk
Start Point: Holly Cottage (Postcode: CA12 5JU)
From Holly Cottage, head up the street and cross the River Greta via the footbridge into Fitz Park (Postcode: CA12 4NF). Exit near Keswick Hospital and follow Spooney Green Lane, which takes you over the A66 and through fields and woodland.
The path gradually climbs, revealing stunning views of Skiddaw and surrounding fells. The final stretch to Latrigg’s summit is steeper but short, rewarding you with panoramic views over Keswick and Derwentwater.
Finish Point: Descend via the eastern path and follow the River Greta back to Fitz Park. Alternatively, explore Keswick town centre (Postcode: CA12 5JR) before returning to Holly Cottage.
